It’s New Years Eve!!! Out with the old and in with the new. I hope for some of you that have been sitting idley by and reading this that you plan on getting the P90X and BRINGING IT with the rest of us. Time for New Year’s resolutions with results!!!!! I started off the morning with 2 whole wheat waffles with a tiny bit of lite syrup and some skim milk. After that it was off to work where I busted butt for 8 hours. My AM snack was a banana with some almonds and for lunch I had a turkey sub (small one) on whole wheat. My PM snack was some string cheese. When I got home we decided to do something a little different for dinner tonight since we were all in the holiday spirit. We had a huge platter of finger foods basically. There was strawberries, pineapple, grapes, apples, green peppers, carrots, celery, peanuts, cashews, 2 kinds of lowfat cheese, olives, sweet gerkins, and ham slices. It was a great healthy little platter that we snacked on for dinner. We were careful not to over indulge, but it was something different to bring in the new year. We even bought sparking grape juice for the kids. After our little finger dinner I did my wokrout real quick while the husband and kids did dishes and got ready for bed. Let me tell you I can definately tell the difference in my stamina with these workouts now. I used to have to stop very frequently and for longer than a few secs when I first started. It really kicked my butt doing these things. Now it still gets my heart rate jumping and me breathing heavy…..but I don’t have to stop NOT EVEN ONCE. I really focus on giving it my all every time. Sometimes I even exceed the rep limits or time limits that Tony sets. If I don’t see results from this then I don’t know what the hell else will work. It would be IMPOSSIBLE not to achieve the results you are looking for. Just stay the course and give it your best, even if it is only a little at first. You will build up to better things. So really give some thought to trying something new this year, something that WILL work!
