What a miserbale start to the day…..it was pouring rain when I left and continued to do so for the remainder of the day
I had wheat toast with peanut butter, a banana, and some fat free milk. For my AM snack at work I had a p90x protein bar. We had a catered lunch today at work because it was our holiday party. It was very nice. The kitchen staff made baked ziti, meatballs, sausage, tossed salad, chicken, bread sticks, fresh fruit, and a sinful looking dessert tray. Family was allowed to attend so Tom met me there to share a nice lunch. I tried to stick on the healthier side of things. I chose salad, fruit, meatballs, and some ziti. And yes…..I did sneak 2 of the mini cheesecakes LOL! It was a great time though. Santa was even there! For my PM snack I had some soy nuts and cranberry juice. Once work was over I had to rush things at home. Tonight was my daughter’s Christmas Chorus Concert at her school. She wanted me to curl her hair for the event and it took MUCH longer than I thought (seeing as this was the first time I ever attempted to do this to her hair in all of her 7 years). It came out looking absolutely gorgeous if I do say so myself. We got to the school on time and the show was wonderful. Sje was so scared she was going to forget the words but she did great. I know I am biased, but my daughter is AWESOME!!!!! After her concert we took her out to get ice cream….no worries, I enjoyed watching her eat it but not partaking. Once they children were all tucked in it I got down to business on my Cardio X. Nice workout tonight. I felt very pumped before I even started so it made things flow easily. I can’t say enough about this workout and it’s flow of energy. Starting off with the yoga is a great way to get prepped for the things to come. You get a really nice, deep stretch going and it hurts so good
The kenpo they throw in there is just enough to be fun, but not enough to be strssful. Nice combos of jabs, hooks, and uppercuts. I always visualize someone I’m aggitated with during that segment hehehehe. Of course the parts from core synergistics are killer….especially since I just did it yesterday and those muscles are still angry at me. The plyo pieces are what really whoop you. The tires and heismans really get your heart rate up there!!!! By the end of that segment you are ready to just hit the POWER BUTTON. I made it though. It wasn’t pretty at times, but I made it. So now I am going to take my smelly butt into the shower and go to bed. I have tomorrow off YAY! This is good news especially with recent weather reports. Sounds like the next few days will be a good time to curl up with a good book and some cocoa! Be safe out there guys!

Hi Jen! Its good to see you back on the blog! I’ve been following you in your Lean program thus far. I’m 1 week behind you, so I’ve already done core and cardio this week. Tonight is shoulders/arms/ab ripper. I plan to finish the entire program and BRING IT! My husband has already done the classic version and is doing P90+ (like your husband).
Thank you for taking the time to write. I look forward to reading your posts, so I know what’s in store for me. Let’s keep up the good work!
